It's not really that big of a deal, but...

I didn't actually follow him on Twitter. Either I accidentally clicked the 'follow' button and didn't realise it, or Twitter went on some random following spree (because I found out that I was also following Premier League, like whaaat?)

So yeah, I mean, I don't remember going to his Twitter profile that week. Like, the last time I went to his profile was during my holiday in March/April, when I found my old blog and started searching all the people from my high school life on Twitter/FB. (I do things, don't ask.)
And he tweeted me saying 'Hi'. I honestly don't want to have a conversation, really. And I think it's pretty clear that he wasn't to keen on having one with me lol.
And thats why I didn't reply his last tweet.

So yeah. Awks.

Akdong Musician (악동뮤지션) - Melted (얼음들)

Akdong Musician debuted earlier in April, and just today they released their second MV, 'Melted'.
As if the song wasn't awesome enough, they levelled up the awesomeness by complimenting the song with a beautiful MV. The music video is totally different than other Kpop MVs I've seen before.
I don't quite know what the song is about, as the only thing I could understand was Soo Hyun's line "Why are they so cold?".  Then I saw the translations, and it's hauntingly beautiful.

Watching the MV, I couldn't tell where it's heading. I was so captivated by the quality of the MV and the storyline. It's sad, because we all know how true it is. We all know how cold the world can be sometimes. The boy in the MV starts out as a bright boy who seemed so naive, so trusting. As the MV progresses, a series of events starts to change him. When the dog barked at him, he screamed back at the dog, which shows that he, himself, has turned cold. But at the end, an act of kindness by a man (the owner of the dog) managed to store back the warmth in the boy.

I was truly touched by the MV. I loved it. I love Akdong Musician. They are really talented. Can you believe it, Chan Hyuk wrote the songs in the album? He is so much younger than me! Well... he is only 2 years younger than me.. but still! And Soo Hyun's voice is so... how do I describe it? It's velvety. Soft, rich and warm. The siblings are truly talented, and I'm glad they're under YG. I'm also glad that YG let them do things their way. I love YG, seriously. Huge fan of their artistes. But obviously, AkMu's style is just so different than YG's style. But yeah, I'm happy with the outcome. I can tell that others are happy too :)

Their debut album is amazing! I have to say, my favourite song is Don't Hate Me (안녕) and Hair Part (가르마). Then comes Melted and 200%.

A Coward

I don't know what to do after I graduate A-Levels this June.
I have no idea where I wanna go, what I want to do.
I'm scared. What if I choose the wrong path? I'll be spending 4 years and a ton of money on education and living+travelling expenses.
I'll be spending the rest of my life, stuck with a job that I don't even like.

Its funny how I'm actually scared of the future, rather than doing something about it. Scared of something that has yet to happen. Shame on you, Shaz~ Stop being a coward!



Sigh.

OK. I have about a month left till my first paper for finals (law paper). Still got time to cover those chapters. Still can make it. I mean, it's only 3 subjects.

Ok ok. Tomorrow is Monday, first class after two weeks break. I'm obviously gonna get it from my lecturers because of my below average trials result.

Bond University Mooting Competition Kuala Lumpur 2013

I joined this competition as a junior counsel from Team 3 of Taylor's College Sri Hartamas. 

A month before, my law lecturer told us (my classmates and I) that its easy, you don't have to do extra research, just memorise the script that Bond University will send 2 weeks before the competition. So I was like, "Oh okay. Cool. I'll give it a try then..."
Sadly, it turns out that Bond University already sent the materials about 3 weeks before the competition, and my lecturer send it in to me only about less than a week before me competition. My team members and I got really discouraged. Plus, it wasn't even a script. It was a case and we had to do our own research and what not. We felt like we were conned by our lecturer. 

My team and I got our points together on the night of the competition, and I only slept for an hour on that day, because I was too nervous and I had to memorise my points. 

I had to say, my team did pretty good. My legs and hands were shaking, like REALLY shaking that even my friend could see how obvious it was. I did okay, I memorised my points, and managed to response to most of the questions asked by the judge. I was really nervous, but thank God the judge was really friendly. At the end, the judge commented that I had a 'calm demeanour', and I could only laugh because I know that I was shaking badly. I guess she didn't notice that? Lol I don't know.

After all the obstacles, the moment my team and I walked out of the 'courtroom', we were laughing and all because we're just too happy and relieved that it's all over! It did turn out to be a fun experience. I'm glad I was given the opportunity to join this competition. Even though we didn't win, it was still fun. So yeah, it was worth not getting enough sleep and waking up at 5am on Friday till Sunday.

Cover of The Month: Little Things by Jason Chen

So I was comparing his cover with Sam Tsui's cover of Justin Timberlake's Mirror, and then I was led to this video. Not a fan of the band, but this is like one of my favorite song, and I only found out recently that Ed Sheeran was the one who wrote it, which makes sense to why I like the song. Hehe.

So anyway, I love Jason's voice! If he was to sing this song personally to me, I'd probably be in a coma or something. I love it so much!

As I was listening to this song, I went to Blogger, and my old blogspot account was signed in. And then I saw all the posts about my ex boyfriend. Aww :( Suddenly I miss him. Haha! I can't contact him now though, that'll be so awkward. I created that blog the night he asked me to be his girlfriend. And he created an account on Blogger just so he can read my posts. Aigoo... I was so childish back then. He was a really nice guy. Hope he's doing well, wherever he is now :) The song + the blog. I can't. My feels~ I feel so lonely now lol.

Foodporn: Plan B - Apple Crumble Tart

I've been looking for apple crumble pie for quite a while now. Been craving for it since the last 2 months.

I was searching all over the Internet for places with good apple crumble pie in KL, and I found out that Journal by Plan B at Publika have 'em. I went there straight away after I finish class. I was so excited lol.

The price was RM11, which is a reasonable price as the portion was quite big.
It wasn't the best tasting apple pie I've tasted. I'd give it a 6 out of 10.
For me, the cinnamon taste was too strong. But the apple filling wasn't too sweet, and sour. The crumble and the vanilla ice cream made up for it, so I guess it was OK. The crust was really hard and kinda dry. The crumble was alright.

I was kinda disappointed.
So far the best tasting apple crumble pie I had is all the way in Hard Rock Bali. Totally 10 out of 10. I didn't get to take a good picture of it (it was half eaten before I get to take another picture). 

But if you were to go to Plan B, I'd recommend the Prime Beef Pie. My absolute favorite! The portion is big, and the Wagyu beef is just so tender. *Drools*
